Sítio da Pedra, owned by Fabio Dias and Paula Pedrão, is a small artisanal olive farm located in Caldas, Minas Gerais, Brazil, in the Serra da Mantiqueira mountain range at an altitude of 1,300 meters (4,265 ft). The grove comprises just 2,000 olive trees of the Arbequina, Koroneiki, Arbosana, Manzanilla, and Grappolo cultivars, grown in volcanic soils that give the oils a distinctive and unique terroir. The olive trees are still young, and the 2026 harvest marked the estate's first commercial crop. Since then, its 2026 Harvest Blend, crafted from Arbequina, Grappolo, and Koroneiki olives, has earned recognition in major international olive oil competitions, highlighting the potential of high-altitude Brazilian olive growing and the estate's commitment to artisanal production, exceptional quality, and the authentic expression of its terroir.
