Formed in 2007 through the merger of historic local cooperatives, Almazaras de la Subbética is located in the rugged Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park of Córdoba, Andalusia. Representing roughly 7,000 olive-growing families, the cooperative leverages the region's challenging mountainous terrain and unique microclimate to produce spectacular oils under the Priego de Córdoba PDO. Globally celebrated for sustainable and organic farming practices, they are widely considered one of the most awarded olive oil producers in the world.
